A foundation question before a technique

Before selecting a technique, name the intention, the person and the learning question.

KEEP THESE QUESTIONS IN VIEW

  1. What is the learning question?
  2. Which context shapes it?
  3. What needs qualified instruction?

01

The starting point

Name the part of a beauty practice you want to understand and the context in which it is discussed. Consultation, visual intention and professional boundaries belong beside a technique label.

02

Keep the context

A reading note is not a practical protocol or a diagnosis. Identify which point requires an approved educator’s instruction rather than presenting a short explanation as sufficient authority to practise.

03

Bring a useful question

A beauty reference may communicate colour, shape or a creative intention without explaining how an activity should be carried out. Ask which part of the reference is relevant to the question. Keep a provider’s teaching arrangements and qualified practical guidance beside the exercise rather than treating the image as sufficient instruction.
